Are you an experienced and resilient teacher passionate about supporting students with Social, Emotional, and Mental Health (SEMH) needs? A school in London is seeking a committed SEMH Teacher to join their dedicated team from September 2025.This full-time, permanent role offers the opportunity to teach in small, supportive classes, helping pupils overcome barriers to learning and thrive both academically and personally. Key Responsibilities
Implement behaviour management and trauma-informed approachesPlan and deliver engaging, individualised lessons for students with SEMH needsWork as part of a multi-disciplinary team (including therapists and behaviour mentors)Track progress, maintain accurate records, and contribute to EHCP reviewsBuild strong, positive relationships with pupils to promote trust and engagementModel emotional regulation and resilience to support students' personal developmentContribute to whole-school initiatives and the wider life of the school
Qualifications and Experience
Experience teaching students with SEMH or SEND needs desirableQualified Teacher Status (QTS)Strong behaviour management skills and understanding of trauma-informed practiceExcellent interpersonal and teamwork skillsResilience, adaptability, and a positive approachA genuine passion for working with children and young people who require additional support
