We're looking for a kind, compassionate and resilient Support Worker to join our Mental Health service in Redbridge. No personal care or experience is required, just the right values.
£28,808.00 per annum, working 40 hours per week.
Successful candidates are expected to do two sleep ins per week.
The shift patterns are 8-4pm, 2-10 pm and sleep in.

What you'll do:
Carolyn House Service provides housing and support to individuals experiencing mental health issues for up to two years. We promote social inclusion and develop life skills for independent living. We also work with several agencies and organisations in the local area to meet individual customers' needs. We support customers to build confidence in order to empower them to use community resources; we promote healthy lifestyles and wellbeing and offer customers choice and control over the activities they would like to participate in.
The service is staffed 24 hours 7 days a week. All customers referred to the Service are allocated a support worker who will provide guidance and support on a range of issues and help signpost customers to relevant services located in the Redbridge Borough.

Build supportive, trusting relationships with customers and creating a positive atmosphere.Undertake key-working responsibilities for a caseload assigned by the Contract Manager.Provide customer medication support and ensuring that medication procedures are followed.Conduct regular key work sessions that are innovative and engaging in order to achieve Support Plan goals.Ensure ongoing assessment and management of risks associated with customers within an attitude of 'positive risk taking'.Provide support with daily living activities, as well as practical assistance to support customers to independent living e.g. budgeting, cooking, community activities. Undertake initial and continuous assessment of needs and potential risks and agree levels of support and actions.Create support/action plans for providing appropriate services based on the assessment and reflecting the services and resources available.Support customers to undertake all domestic tasks wherever possible, including practical assistance where they have not yet developed the skills, to ensure customers enjoy a high quality of accommodationWhat you'll bring:
