Job Title: SEN Teaching AssistantJob Type: TemporaryDuration: On-goingLocation: ColefordSalary: £90 - £110 per dayWorking Hours: Monday to Friday - 8:30am – 3:30pm Core Education is currently working with schools in the Coleford area who have requirements for a Special Educational Needs (SEN) Teaching Assistant.SEN Teaching Assistant Key Responsibilities: Create an inclusive learning environmentFacilitate communication between students, teachers and parentsMotivate and engage studentsPlan innovative and engaging lessons which will meet the needs of children with a variety of abilitiesPromote learning and personal development of students, adapting learning activities to meet the needs of the children SEN Teaching Assistant Experience: Excellent knowledge of the National CurriculumBe able to demonstrate recent classroom experience and strong behaviour management skillsBe committed to supporting the children where necessaryHave previous experience as a Teaching Assistant or relevant experience of working with childrenWorking within a Primary school setting and be confident in using their initiativeQualification within Education is desirable The successful SEN Teaching Assistant will need an Enhanced DBS or be willing to apply for one.If you’re an experienced SEN Teaching Assistant, then click apply today!
