We are currently recruiting for an ROV Support Engineer on a 12-month contract basis with hybrid working in Aberdeen. There is the potential for extension.ROLE As ROV Support Engineer you will be part of the ROIS Business Line within the ROV. You will provide technical and operational support for our ROV systems to ensure that all activities are carried out in a manner consistent with policies.RESPONSIBILITIES: Carry out support activities related to loading out of ROV systems, checking and preparing workshop spares, preparing inventories, carrying out system pre-mob checksCo-ordinate re-certification activities for the ROV systems and spare parts shipments to ROV systems offshoreProcess received offshore MRs and assist with expediting as required, including clarification on part queriesMonitor receipt of ROV maintenance and technical reports, and review/action any issues identifiedEnsure all ROV critical spares checks are conducted and that shortfalls are actioned in a timely mannerProcess and follow up actions related to Damage/Malfunction/Failure (DMF) reports that are received from the ROV systems REQUIREMENTS: 2 years as an ROV tooling technician.2 to 5 years as an ROV pilot tech or ROV maintenance technician.
