Brightwork is looking for Labourers to join their client's team. This is a temporary position, but it could go permanent for the right individual. You will be working inside the warehouse with a small team, making pallets. This is a full-time Monday to Friday, 7.00 to 16.30. We are looking for individuals who have had some kind of experience with timber. Due to the location driving maybe the best way to travel to the site. Your Time at Work As a General Operator, your role will include the below - Being part of a small team working with timber - Build new pallets using hand tools, power tools, and machinery. - Repair and refurbish damaged pallets by replacing or reinforcing boards. - Measure, cut, and assemble wood according to specifications. - Operate nail guns, saws, and other woodworking equipment safely. - Inspect finished pallets for quality, durability, and compliance with customer or industry standards. - Stack, organise, and prepare pallets for shipping or storage - Maintain a clean and safe work environment by following safety procedures - Operating machinery - Ensuring quality - Following all Health & Safety rules Our Perfect Worker If you possess the below, please apply: - Experience of working with timber. - Keen eye for detail - Have excellent communication skills - Great time keeping - Flexibility Key Information and Benefits - Monday-Friday, - Competitive pay rate - Overtime after 40 hours at Time and a half - Full training and support provided - REF 1ELG About Staffline Brightwork Ltd offers the services of an employment agency for permanent roles and an employment business for temporary roles.
