School Administrator East London Full-time, Monday to Friday (8:00am - 4:00pm) Long-term placement - Immediate start Competitive pay (dependent on experience) About the Role We're working with a busy, welcoming school in East London that is seeking an experienced and organised School Administrator to join their team. This is a long-term placement with the potential to become permanent. You'll play a key role in supporting the day-to-day running of the school office, providing professional and efficient administrative support to staff, parents, and pupils. Key Responsibilities Act as the first point of contact for parents, pupils, and visitors, handling queries in person, by phone, and by email. Maintain accurate student records and update school systems (experience in Arbor, SIMS, or Bromcom preferred). Support with attendance monitoring, admissions, and pupil data management. Assist with general administrative tasks such as filing, photocopying, data entry, and correspondence. Provide admin support to senior leadership and teaching staff as required. Help organise school communications, newsletters, and letters to parents. Maintain confidentiality and uphold safeguarding standards at all times. Requirements Previous school office or administration experience is highly desirable. Strong organisational and communication skills. Proficient in Microsoft Office and confident using school MIS systems. Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a busy environment. Must hold an Enhanced DBS (on the Update Service or willing to apply). Hours & Pay Hours: 8:00am - 4:00pm, Monday to Friday Contract: Long-term (with potential to become permanent) Pay: Competitive, based on experience Why Join?
