Teaching Personnel are currently working with a secondary school based in Stoke-on-Trent who are looking for a full-time Science Teacher to start after October half-term. This is a great opportunity to be a part of a welcoming and supportive working environment, working collaboratively with other members of the department to ensure inclusive learning.About the role: Start-date: 3rd NovemberOngoing/long-term roleCompetitive daily pay rate As a Science Teacher you will plan and deliver engaging lessons following the national curriculum whilst ensuring all resources and materials are accessible to a variety of learning types. You will regularly assess pupils both formally and informally, providing both written and verbal feedback. Additionally, you will work collaboratively with other members of the department to ensure the curriculum and lesson plans remain relevant and reflective of student progress.What we’re looking for: QTS with a strong background in scienceExperience teaching at KS3 and GCSE level (trainee teacher placements included)Strong knowledge of the science national curriculumExcellent behaviour management and knowledge of current teaching techniquesStrong communication and interpersonal skills with both the students and other staff members This is a great opportunity for an ECT looking to start their career or an experienced teacher looking for an exciting new role.If you’re interested in this opportunity, please apply with your CV and a consultant will be in contact within 2 working days.
