Location: Barnet Salary: £90 - £110 Job type: Long-term, temporary Hours: Monday to Friday, 8:30am to 15:30pm Start date: November 2025 End date: July 2026 Year group: KS1 Tradewind are seeking a strong Teaching Assistant who holds experience of White Rose Maths and Phonics learning schemes. The school are looking to appoint an individual to work with SEN children in the KS1 setting to raise pupil attainment. We will also welcome applications from Graduates looking to progress in Education with limited classroom-based experience, or those with Nannying experience. About the role: This is a mixed ability class, and some pupils are diagnosed with SEN Support SEN pupils on a 1:1 or group basis Lead interventions when necessary Create stimulating learning resources to encourage academic progress Help to set up and tidy up at the start and end of lessons Requirements: Experience as a SEN Teaching Assistant is ideal but not essential Must have lots of initiative and a pro-active approach Bachelor's degree is ideal but not essential This position is subject to an Enhanced DBS Disclosure, Overseas Police Clearances (if applicable) and professional reference checks Your CV must cover the last 10 years of employment history where possible and any employment breaks must be explained You must have the legal right to work in the UK About the School: 3 form entry school Rated Outstanding by Ofsted SEN provision part of school site Child led learning approach Click 'Apply Now' to be considered for this position as a Teaching Assistant in Barnet.
