Health & Safety Officer One of Irelands Leading Contractors €65,000–€70,000 + Vehicle, Bonus & Benefits Join Ireland’s leading Tier 1 contractor and help deliver landmark projects across Dublin. Are you an experienced Health & Safety Officer ready to take on a long-term role with one of Ireland’s most respected construction companies? This is an opportunity to join a top-tier main contractor with a proven track record in delivering major residential, commercial, and mixed-use developments across Dublin and Leinster projects that range from €50m to €300m and consistently set the benchmark for quality, safety, and innovation in the Irish construction industry. The Company:You’ll be joining a long-established Irish contractor renowned for delivering some of the country’s most ambitious construction and engineering projects. Operating for over a century, this company combines scale, technical excellence, and innovation across sectors including:Large-scale residentialCommercial offices and mixed-use developmentsHealthcare, education, and public infrastructureThey are recognised for their award-winning safety culture, strong employee development programmes, and their ability to retain and grow staff through long-term, high-profile work across Dublin, Ireland and the UK. Your Role:Reporting to the Senior Health & Safety Manager, you will:Manage all aspects of site Health & Safety for the project.Identify and control site-specific hazards through proactive inspections and audits.Carry out Risk Assessments and prepare Method Statements (RAMS).Conduct site safety inspections, investigate incidents, and implement corrective actions.Lead Toolbox Talks, safety meetings, and training sessions for site teams.Liaise with Project and Site Managers to ensure H&S documentation is current and compliant.Promote a strong culture of safety awareness across all site activities. About You:You are a motivated Health & Safety professional who combines technical knowledge with practical on-site experience.A third-level qualification in Health & Safety or related discipline.3–5+ years’ experience in a similar role within residential or commercial construction.Ideally a member of IOSH or working towards chartership.Capable of managing safety autonomously while collaborating within a larger team.Strong IT skills (Microsoft Office, mobile apps, safety software).Confident communicator with the ability to lead training and safety discussions on site.
