Service Manager – Children’s Residential ServicesMidlands Region | Up to £60,000 + Car Allowance + BonusesWe’re seeking an experienced and dynamic Service Manager to oversee a cluster of children’s residential homes across the Midlands. This is a key leadership role within a growing organisation dedicated to providing high-quality care and positive outcomes for young people.You’ll lead and support Registered Managers, drive quality improvements, and ensure compliance with Ofsted and safeguarding standards. Regular travel between homes and the central office will be required; a full UK driving licence is essential.Package and Benefits Salary up to £60,000 (depending on experience)£6,000 car allowance and/or company fuel cardMonthly performance-related bonusEnhanced annual leave entitlement (increasing with service)NEST pension schemeEmployee Assistance Programme Requirements Minimum 4 years’ experience in a children’s residential setting (within the last 7 years)At least 3 years in a supervisory or leadership roleExperience supporting young people with emotional, behavioural, or neurodiverse needsLevel 5 Diploma in Leadership & Management (or willingness to work towards it)Full UK driving licence and right to work in the UK Key Responsibilities Manage daily operations across multiple homesLead, mentor, and develop Home Managers and senior teamsConduct audits and drive quality improvement plansAct as Designated Safeguarding LeadMaintain regulatory compliance and support Ofsted standards All appointments are subject to enhanced DBS and reference checks in line with safer recruitment practices.If you’re passionate about improving the lives of young people and have the leadership skills to inspire teams, we’d like to hear from you.
