About the Role: We are currently recruiting for a skilled and reliable Welder based in Chester-le-Street, the role is offered on a temp to perm basis, with an immediate start available. This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced Welder to contribute to a well-established business within the engineering/manufacturing sector. Key Responsibilities: Perform MIG welding (as applicable) to a high standard Read and interpret technical drawings and specifications Carry out fabrication and assembly of metal components Conduct quality checks to ensure welds meet required standards Maintain a clean and safe working environment in accordance with health and safety regulations Collaborate with team members to meet production targets and deadlines Rate £13ph during the initial 12-week trial period £13.50ph following successful completion of training (this may be accelerated depending on performance) Working Hours: Mon-Fri 6am-4pm core hours 4pm-6pm daily overtime paid at time and a third Blue Arrow is proud to be a Disability Confident Employer and is committed to helping find great work opportunities for great people.
