Management Accountant – Kirmington – circa £45k Benjamin Edwards is recruiting a proactive and detail-oriented Management Accountant to join a friendly and supportive accounts team within a dynamic SME. Following a period of significant investment, the business continues to expand and diversify. As Management Accountant, you will play a key role in supporting financial operations and providing valuable insights to help drive business performance. What's on offer to the Management Accountant25 days annual holiday (plus bank holidays)Company pension schemeOn-site parking The role of the Management AccountantSupporting the preparation and analysis of budgets and management reportsPreparing and maintaining product costings and price listsManaging payroll administration (processing outsourced to a payroll bureau)Compiling financial information for cross-departmental useManaging and maintaining the sales data management systemSupporting month-end and year-end processes, including stock take, supplier payments, journal postings and account reconciliations, employee expenses and company credit cards, quarterly VAT returns, accruals and prepayments, fleet management, rebates, and maintaining the fixed asset registerAssisting with insurance, healthcare, and utilities renewalsSupporting the annual audit process and R&D tax credit calculationsProviding support with HR administrative tasks (GDPR compliance, personnel records)Performing additional finance-related tasks as required The ideal candidate for the role of Management AccountantCIMA/ACCA/ACA/ICAEW qualified (finalist or part qualified close to qualifying will also be considered)Strong systems and IT skills, particularly Microsoft ExcelExcellent analytical skills and high attention to detailAbility to communicate financial information clearly to non-financial colleagues
