This is a fantastic opportunity to help pupils develop confidence, independence, and essential learning skills in a nurturing environment.Role Overview:Being a SEND TA, you will assist teachers and SENCOs in delivering personalised learning and behaviour support plans.As a SEND TA, you will: Provide 1:1 and small-group support for pupils with a range of additional learning needs.Help create a calm, structured, and supportive classroom environment.Assist teachers and SENCOs in delivering personalised learning and behaviour support plans.Encourage pupils to develop communication skills, independence, and positive learning behaviours.Support emotional regulation, confidence-building, and wellbeing.Monitor progress and share observations with staff to guide ongoing support. Requirements for SEND Teaching Assistant: Previous experience supporting pupils with SEND or additional needs (school or care experience desirable).Strong communication, teamwork, and behaviour management abilities.A caring, patient, and proactive approach to supporting learners.Commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children.An enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to apply).A full CV covering the last 10 years, with explanations for any gaps.
