Account Director - Life Sciences / CongressesSurrey / Hybrid£80,000 - £85,000 + benefits + bonusRare opportunity to join this global marketing, experiential and events agency in a strategic and sales focused Account Director role in the Life Sciences sector.The agencyThis full service events and comms agency work with well known global brands, predominantly in the healthcare and pharma sector, to deliver a range of events and experiences. From large scale congresses for 1000's to stand alone meetings for 500 delegates, with logistically complex elements as well as full service production and digital elements they work worldwide in some fantastic destinations. With a global reach they are going from strength to strength and now have a rare opportunity to join their Life Sciences division as an Account Director.The roleAs Account Director, you are the senior client partner working closely with C-Suite and Executive Leadership stakeholders across a range of life sciences accounts. You will lead a portfolio of accounts with deliverables across pharma and life science events from congresses, to symposia and stand alone events. As Account Director you will be tasked to grow and develop account revenue, cross selling and upselling services and be confident in pitching for new business. You will also line manage a small team.About you With substantial experience in growing accounts and setting event strategy with clients in the Life Sciences industry you will have proven experience in overseeing congresses / global healthcare events across multi-markets. With a strong commercial background you will have experience in forecasting account growth and profitability. An in-depth knowledge of the compliance regulations in the Life Science and pharma industry is key with the ability to build lasting relationships with global accounts as their trusted partner.
