Job Title: Teaching Assistant Location: Wimborne and surrounding areas Start Date: Immediate Contract Type: Day-to-day and short-term supply, with potential for longer-term roles Salary: £85–£95 per day (dependent on experience)Overview Teaching Personnel is seeking flexible and dependable Teaching Assistants to support primary and secondary schools in Wimborne. Schools require staff who can confidently step into short-notice cover while maintaining positive, well-supported learning environments.Role Responsibilities • Provide in-class, small group, and 1:1 support • Assist teachers with lesson delivery and classroom organisation • Support behaviour management and pupil engagement • Adapt quickly to different school routines and expectations • Follow safeguarding procedures and school policiesRequirements • Experience working with children or young people (school-based preferred) • Strong communication and a calm, supportive approach • Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to apply) • Good availability for short-notice supply • Ability to work confidently across varied school settingsWhat We Offer • £85–£95 daily pay • Consistent day-to-day supply work • Progression into longer-term roles where available • Dedicated consultant support • Access to CPD and training, including SEN and safeguarding modulesHow to Apply Submit your CV and availability.
