Alternative Provision Tutor – Nottingham (Flexible Hours)Company: Supreme EducationLocation: Nottinghamshire( NG5,NG17,NG22,NG23 ETC)Job Type: Part-Time / FlexiblePay: Competitive hourly rate (based on experience) About UsSupreme Education is an Alternative Provision (AP) provider supporting young people who need tailored, one-to-one or small-group education outside mainstream school. We work closely with local authorities, families, and carers to help each student reach their potential in a calm, supportive, and structured environment.About the RoleWe are looking for passionate and reliable tutors to deliver sessions in Maths, English, and Science for students aged 10–16.Many of our students have SEN, SEMH, or ESOL needs, so patience, empathy, and flexibility are key.Main responsibilities:• Plan and deliver engaging, personalised lessons.• Support students’ academic, emotional, and social development.• Provide regular progress feedback to the AP Coordinator.• Deliver sessions in the student’s home, community setting, or online (depending on the referral).Requirements:• Experience in teaching or tutoring (school, tuition centre, or one-to-one).• Excellent communication and relationship-building skills.• Reliable, professional, and organised approach.• Valid Enhanced DBS (or willingness to obtain one).• Teaching qualification or relevant experience preferred.What We Offer:• Flexible working hours to fit your schedule.• Competitive hourly rate.• Ongoing referrals and admin support.• Opportunities for training and progression.• A chance to make a real difference in a young person’s life.
