With a strong emphasis on SEN provision, behaviour management, and well-being, the school ensures that pupils receive the guidance and support they need to reach their full potential.About the Role We are looking for a 1:1 Behaviour Support Assistant to provide dedicated support for individual pupils with specific behavioural needs. The role is crucial in enabling pupils to access learning, develop positive behaviour, and achieve personal and academic growth.Responsibilities Provide one-to-one support to pupils with behavioural, emotional, or social needs. Implement and support behaviour management strategies as directed by teaching staff and SENCO. Support pupils in classroom tasks, activities, and personal care where necessary. Work closely with teachers, SEN coordinators, and parents to plan and deliver effective interventions. Maintain records of pupil progress, behaviour, and interventions. Promote a safe, inclusive, and nurturing learning environment. Qualifications Experience working with children with additional behavioural or SEN needs. Knowledge of behaviour management strategies and intervention techniques. Strong communication, organisation, and teamwork skills. Understanding of safeguarding and child protection procedures.
