Teaching Personnel are currently seeking a dedicated and caring Teaching Assistant to join a wonderful Primary SEN School in Portsmouth, supporting pupils with Autism and a range of learning difficulties.About the Role: Supporting pupils on a 1:1 basis and in small groups Assisting the class teacher with learning activities and classroom management Encouraging positive behaviour and engagement through tailored support Helping pupils develop communication, social and life skills Providing a safe, inclusive and nurturing learning environment The Ideal Candidate: Experience working with children with Autism (ASC) or additional learning needs A patient, empathetic and enthusiastic approach Ability to build strong relationships with pupils and staff Willingness to learn and follow individual education plans (IEPs) Relevant experience in an educational, care or SEN setting is desirable What We Offer: Competitive pay rate of £13.75 per hour Term-time only - enjoy school holidays off!
