Teaching Personnel are working with a SEN Teaching Assistant who is seeking a full time Teaching Assistant to work 1-1 with a pupil in Year 1 with diagnosed autism (ASD). The role is 5 days per week, Mon - Fri. Hours: 8:30am - 3:30pm. This role is due to start ASAP for the right individualThe role would be supporting the pupil on a 1-1 basis. You would work with the pupil during lesson times and in 1-1 and group sessions. You will support the Year 1 class teacher and be responsible for prepping pupils work, ensuring the pupil is interacting with the lessons, provide feedback and assessments and support the pupil's wellbeing. The pupil is mostly well behaved but experience working or supporting people previosuly with similar needs would be desireable The Role: Full time, Monday - FridayHours approximately 8:30am - 3:30pmKS1 Teaching AssistantAutism Support £13.75 Responsibilities: Providing support within the classroom wherever requiredDelivering activities on one-to-one or small group basisEnsuring children are engagedAdapting to every individual pupil’s needsHelping with behaviour management of childrenCreating displays of children’s work All applicants will require the appropriate qualifications and training for this role.
