We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) Teaching Assistant to join our vibrant and supportive team. This is an exciting opportunity to make a real difference in the lives of young learners, helping them develop the skills and confidence they need for a successful start in education.Job Title: EYFS Teaching AssistantLocation: Colne Contract Type: Full-time Salary: £13.75 - £14.50 per hourKey Responsibilities Support the class teacher in delivering engaging and age-appropriate learning activities.Assist in creating a safe, stimulating, and inclusive environment for all children.Provide one-to-one and small group support to pupils, including those with additional needs.Help with classroom organisation, preparation of resources, and maintaining a positive learning atmosphere.Monitor and record pupil progress, feeding back to the teacher as required.Promote positive behaviour and uphold the school’s values and safeguarding policies. What We’re Looking For Experience working with children in an EYFS setting (school or nursery).A caring, patient, and proactive approach to supporting young learners.Strong communication and teamwork skills.Knowledge of EYFS curriculum and child development.Relevant qualifications (e.g., Level 2 or Level 3 in Supporting Teaching and Learning) are desirable but not essential.
