Full-Time SEN Teaching Assistant – Wythenshawe (January Start) Teaching Personnel is working closely with an inclusive and highly respected primary school in Wythenshawe to recruit a committed SEN Teaching Assistant. This is a full-time role, running Monday to Friday, 8:30am–3:30pm, with a January start.The school is rated ‘Outstanding’ by Ofsted and is known for providing a supportive, child-centred environment. You’ll join a dedicated team focused on delivering personalised education to pupils with Special Educational Needs (SEN), both one-to-one and in small groups.Key Responsibilities:
Provide tailored support to pupils with SEN, individually and in small groupsWork alongside the class teacher to deliver engaging, personalised learningSupport and monitor Individual Education Plans (IEPs)Help maintain a positive, inclusive, and safe classroom environmentCollaborate with teachers, SENCOs, and external professionalsTrack and report pupil progress, adapting support strategies as needed
Requirements:
GCSEs (or equivalent) in English and MathsPrevious experience supporting children with SENPatient, empathetic, and adaptable approachStrong communication and teamwork skillsCommitted to safeguarding and promoting child welfareLevel 2 Safeguarding training (or willingness to complete it)

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
