We are seeking a dedicated Housing Support Worker to join our supportive and values-driven team.In this rewarding role, you’ll provide person-centred support to individuals living in temporary and shared accommodation—many of whom may be experiencing homelessness, trauma, or complex life challenges. You’ll play a vital role in helping customers build confidence, develop independent living skills, and transition successfully into the community.Key responsibilities include:Delivering tailored one-to-one support and case managementCreating and reviewing personalised support and risk management plansPromoting independent living, wellbeing, and financial resilienceSupporting with benefit applications, arrears management, and practical life skillsWorking in partnership with local agencies, professionals, and internal teamsMaintaining a safe, secure, and positive living environmentWhat we’re looking for:Experience supporting vulnerable individuals—such as those affected by homelessness, mental health challenges, substance misuse, or domestic abuseKnowledge of housing or social care sectors, including understanding of welfare benefits and tenancy-related issuesAbility to manage a complex caseload, complete assessments, and keep accurate support recordsConfident using a coaching or strengths-based approach to engage and motivate service usersEmotionally resilient, compassionate, and able to set clear boundariesStrong communication, teamwork, and problem-solving skillsBasic IT literacy and familiarity with digital toolsThis is an opportunity to be part of a mission-led organisation where your work will have a real and lasting impact.
