Our client have an exciting opportunity for a Senior Technology / ITS Engineer to join their Southeast technology team, managing and maintaining all technology assets on the SE strategic road network.As a Senior ITS Engineer you will provide technical expertise in the identification and evaluation of technology asset specific needs and early solutions, while assuring adherence to defined asset policies and standards.Developing early solutions for improvements and/or renewals, including the compiling of relevant documents, evidence and options for value management, taking into account new techniques, materials, buildability and costs.Identifying, preparing briefs and managing delivery of survey works that support the improvement and/or renewal of assets.Developing the regions asset led forward programme and initial scheme development.Providing technical support to Project Managers by assisting with materials approvals, vetting of contractors' compliance, inspection support on site, and reviewing health and safety files.Reviews of third-party designs for compliance to design and maintenance requirements.Undertaking feasibility studies, investigations, and technology research to provide innovative solutions.About you.A Chartered or Incorporated Engineer and member of a relevant professional Body with appropriate experienceDegree or HND in related discipline and appropriate experience, or equivalentExperience of ITS (Intelligent Transport system)Strong understanding of CDM 2015Knowledge of Design Manual for Roads and Bridges (DMRB) standards and their application on the highways network
