Learning Support Assistant (Further Education) - GosportTerm Time Only. £13.75 per hour. Through Teaching PersonnelAre you passionate about supporting young people in education?Teaching Personnel are seeking dedicated Learning Support Assistants (LSAs) to join a Further Education provision in Gosport, providing high-quality classroom support to students aged 16–19.This is a term-time only position with variable hours each day, ideal for someone who thrives in a dynamic learning environment and is looking to make a real impact on students’ educational journeys.Role Overview: Support students within a classroom or on a 1:1/small group basis Assist learners with Special Educational Needs (SEN), including ASD, ADHD, and other additional needs Encourage independence, confidence, and engagement in lessons Work collaboratively with teaching staff to ensure every student receives the support they need The Ideal Candidate: Has experience supporting learners with SEN or additional learning needs Demonstrates strong communication and classroom support skills Is adaptable, patient, and committed to helping students achieve their goals Holds or is willing to undergo an enhanced DBS check About Teaching Personnel: Teaching Personnel is the UK’s leading education recruitment agency, proudly supporting schools, colleges, and alternative provisions for over 25 years.
