RoleTo provide high-quality care and education for children from walking age to 5 years, following the EYFS framework, promoting children’s holistic development and maintaining a safe, nurturing and stimulating learning environment. Working hours are 45hrs per week, Monday - Friday, all year round, not term time.Key Responsibilities- Plan, prepare and deliver age-appropriate activities following the EYFS.- Observe, assess and record children’s progress using the nursery’s systems.- Build strong, positive relationships with children and families.- Promote children’s independence, confidence and emotional well-being.- Ensure all safeguarding, health & safety and nursery policies are followed.- Work collaboratively with the team to maintain high standards of education and care.- Maintain cleanliness and organisation within the learning environment.- Attend staff meetings, training sessions and CPD activities as required.Requirements- Level 2, 3 Early Years Qualification- Good knowledge of the EYFS and child development.- Experience in early years settings (preferred).- Strong communication skills and a positive, nurturing approach.- Enhanced DBS and two satisfactory references.- Right to work in the UK.Salary to be discussed on successful application
