Tradewind Recruitment is seeking a dedicated Learning Support Assistant to support children and young people in our partner schools across Lincoln.
As a Learning Support Assistant, you'll work closely with students with Special Educational Needs and Disabilities (SEND), including those with Social, Emotional, and Mental Health (SEMH) needs, providing tailored support both in the classroom and in small group or one-to-one settings. You'll help students access learning, build confidence, and reach their full potential, while supporting teachers in maintaining a positive and inclusive environment. This role offers the rewarding opportunity to make a real difference in the lives of children and young people, helping them thrive academically, socially, and emotionally.
You will need:
Experience supporting children and young people of all ages in a classroom setting
A good understanding of SEND and SEMH
A DBS on the update service (or willingness to apply for one)
