Maths and English Tutor – Hindley (WN2)We are seeking enthusiastic tutors to deliver 1:1 support in Maths and English for pupils in the Hindley (WN2) area. This is a rewarding role focused on helping learners build confidence, close gaps in their knowledge, and make real progress in core subjects.The role will involve: Delivering personalised 1:1 tuition in English and Maths Supporting pupils who may be out of mainstream education or need extra help Adapting lessons to suit different ages, abilities, and learning styles Encouraging confidence, motivation, and engagement in learning Recording progress and sharing feedback with parents, carers, or local authorities We are looking for tutors with: Experience teaching or tutoring children or young people Strong subject knowledge in English and Maths A patient, adaptable, and supportive approach An Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to apply) What we offer: £25–£30 per hour (depending on experience) Flexible weekday hours during the school day Weekly PAYE pay – no umbrella deductions Ongoing training and CPD opportunities A highly rewarding role supporting learners in Hindley (WN2) If you are passionate about helping pupils in Hindley achieve their potential in Maths and English, we’d love to hear from you.
