Join us as a Caretaker and make a difference in the lives of residents by ensuring estates are clean, safe, and welcoming. About the RoleAs a Caretaker, you'll work independently or as part of a team to provide essential estate services. You'll be a key point of contact for residents, addressing their concerns and maintaining communal areas to the highest standards. Key Responsibilities: Estate Maintenance & Cleaning:Clean communal areas and ensure outdoor spaces are free of litter and detritus.Remove graffiti promptly and control weed growth.Resident Interaction:Build positive relationships with tenants, providing advice and support, especially for vulnerable groups.Address and escalate complaints and tenancy issues as needed.Emergency Response & Repairs:Handle emergencies such as fire, flooding, or burglary during working hours.Perform minor repairs in communal areas in line with health and safety standards.Reporting & Documentation:Maintain accurate records of incidents, complaints, and daily activities.Report issues like abandoned vehicles, tenancy violations, or damage to the appropriate teams.Team Collaboration:Work in paired arrangements with colleagues for leave coverage and ensure cleaning frequencies are met. What We're Looking For:A full UK driving licence is essential.Strong communication and interpersonal skills.Ability to work independently and as part of a team.Experience in cleaning, maintenance, or a similar role is desirable.
