Residential Development Associate – Newcastle/Manchester/LeedsAn established national law firm with a strong reputation in the property sector is looking to appoint a Senior Associate (c.4–6 PQE+) into its specialist Residential Development team.This role offers the chance to join a large, market-leading practice acting for many of the UK’s top housebuilders and developers, advising across the full lifecycle of major residential and mixed-use schemes.The Opportunity: Work on high-value residential and regeneration projects, from site acquisition and planning through to disposalDraft and negotiate option and promotion agreements, joint ventures, overage deeds and associated funding arrangementsAdvise on disposals of affordable housing and bulk sales to PRS and build-to-rent providersSupervise and support Junior Solicitors and Trainees, with genuine opportunities for career progressionEngage in business development and client relationship management within a dynamic, forward-thinking team About You: Qualified Solicitor with at least 4 years’ PQE in commercial property, ideally with residential development experienceStrong technical knowledge and commercial awarenessConfident handling complex transactions and managing client relationshipsEnthusiastic about mentoring juniors and contributing to business developmentPersonable, detail-focused and able to work both independently and collaboratively What’s on Offer?
