Your Key Responsibilities: Wash, clean, and maintain all kitchen equipment, utensils, and production tools. Handle incoming deliveries unpacking, organizing stock, and safe transportation of goods within the kitchen/storage areas. Keep all kitchen, bakery, and storage areas immaculately clean, tidy, and well-organised. Adhere strictly to Health & Safety regulations and food hygiene standards at all times. Support pastry chefs and production staff with general prep tasks (non-cooking) when needed. Maintain sanitized floors, surfaces, and equipment throughout your shift, helping ensure a smooth flow during busy periods. What Is Expected Person Specification Previous experience as a kitchen porter / kitchen assistant or in a similar cleaning/support role is preferred. Ability to work efficiently and confidently in a busy, fast-paced production kitchen. Reliable, punctual, flexible with shift patterns, including weekends and bank holidays. Physically fit, capable of lifting and moving heavy boxes/equipment safely. Good understanding of basic Health & Safety and food hygiene standards. Strong work ethic, high attention to detail, and commitment to cleanliness and order. Team-oriented with good communication skills and ability to stay calm under pressure. What is on Offer?
