IDT Belarus is looking for a Chief Accountant / Financial Controller. In this highly visible role you will manage accounting and tax accounting workload in Minsk office.

You will be responsible for:

• Full accounting and tax accounting for local office

• Accounting & tax reporting to both corporate finance, HTP and other local. Statutory financial statements preparation and filling

• Payroll calculation and reporting

• Processing and control of payments to suppliers

• Follow up and control of Company' s policies and procedures, e.g. Travel expense reimbursements & purchasing related control

• Accounting system set-up for local office

We would like to see:

• Degree in accounting/finance/economics

• Min 3-year experience on chief accountant position

• Understanding of both local accounting and US GAAP/IFRS concepts and experience in applying them to daily accounting activities

• Deep knowledge of main regulatory taxation documents + HTP specifics

• IT (preferable) or international company experience

• English upper-intermediate

• Personal qualities: communicative, responsible, attentive to details, stress resistant

• ACCA/IFRS certificate

• Audit with BIG4 (advantage)
