We are looking for a person to take over the position of the Translation Project Manager with sufficient knowledge and skills to improve overall translation process and implement translation Project management procedure.

Translation Project Manager Summary:

Project Manager is responsible for managing and coordinating the completion of all linguistic and other projects at every step.

Position responsibilities:

· Manage the entire life-cycle of multiple localization and translation projects in a fast-paced environment

· Coordinate all the project phases and efficiently predict the lifespan of all the stages of the project

· Liaise with sales staff to clarify project parameters

· Negotiate deadlines and rates with vendors

· Establish and maintain excellent relationships with contract translators and proofreaders globally

· Monitor and control projects status

· Manage project finances, including budgeting

· Prepare and maintain project documentation

· Comply with relevant and applicable procedures

· Perform quality checks at various stages of process to ensure quality and accuracy (proofreading, final eye…)

Essential skills and experience required:

· Excellent written and verbal Russian and English communication skills, other languages would be an asset

· University Degree (preferably in linguistic/translation related studies)

· Minimum 1 year of professional experience

· Detail orientation with the ability to multitask

· Ability to meet deadlines

· Excellent problem solving and analytical skills

· Independence in carrying out assigned tasks

· Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment

· Highly-developed computer skills (MS Office, Windows)

· Experience in translation and localization project management would be a strong advantage

Qualifications:

• Academic Degree/Level and Years of Professional Work Experience: Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in areas related to Linguistics, translation and ten years of relevant professional experience working with languages and quality control of translation process/documents.
• Areas of Expertise: Full command of Microsoft software, particularly word-processing, graphics, spreadsheets, PowerPoint presentations CAT software (i.e., MemoQ, Trados, Memsource) and database programs.
• Languages: Fully proficient in English and Russian working knowledge of French and German is a plus.

Skills: Excellent communication skills and ability to work as a member of a team proficiency in the consistent and rigorous application of quality control procedures attention to detail ability to work under pressure strict compliance with the Section’s established deadlines.
