For the last six years we' ve built Shopify apps for a living - more than a dozen launched, and several acquired for seven‑figure sums. We are backed by Shopify‑focused investment funds and a merchant network that turns the right idea into steady MRR.

We’re now hiring a Lead Laravel Developer to take full tech ownership of our next product – a next‑gen Pre‑Order app already 80 % complete. Your mandate is crystal clear: ship rock‑solid code, keep quality high, and harness AI tooling to move faster every week.

We’re after a proactive, endlessly curious engineer ready to explore new technologies — even if you’ve never built a Shopify app before. If you’re a Laravel expert willing to dive into the Shopify ecosystem quickly, you’ll fit right in. Shopify experience is a big plus, but absolutely not a deal‑breaker.

• Complete the remaining 20 percent of development and ship the public release within the next quarter.

• After launch, drive a rapid implementation cycle to deliver new functionality that delights Shopify merchants.

• Write clean, testable code while enforcing solid engineering practices (CI/CD, automated tests, code reviews).

• Maintain high availability, performance, and security as usage scales.

• Collaborate tightly with product and UX leads to scope work, but stay laser‑focused on hands‑on coding and shipping.

Using AI to accelerate target delivery is a non‑negotiable pillar of our workflow:

• Front‑end: ≥ 60 percent of UI code is generated via AI tools such as Anima (Figma‑to‑React/Vue) or comparable solutions of your choice.

• Back‑end: ≥ 30 percent of business logic is produced with AI pair‑programming (e.g. Cursor, Codex, GitHub Copilot, Gadget.dev).

• Treat AI output as work from a junior developer: every commit must pass code review, static analysis and automated tests before merge.

• Continuously experiment with new AI coding, testing and documentation tools - feel free to adopt any stack that measurably improves speed and quality.

• 5+ years of professional PHP & Laravel experience at a senior level.

• Strong full‑stack skills: modern JS/TS (Vue or React), Tailwind, REST/GraphQL, SQL, queues and caching.

• Hands‑on experience shipping SaaS or startup products end‑to‑end under tight timelines.

• Fluent user of AI development tools with real examples in production.

• DevOps familiarity: Docker, AWS/GCP, CI/CD, monitoring.

• Technical written and spoken English.

• Guaranteed base salary - a minimum monthly pay from day one, with upside as your involvement (initially part‑time if you prefer) ramps up.

• Equity with upside, not risk - meaningful ownership on top of salary no work for free expectations.

• Proven playbook - 10+ apps shipped, multiple exits, and a battle‑tested launch & growth framework.

• Greenfield autonomy - you choose stack & tooling, we clear blockers.

• Knowledge of Shopify’s ecosystem: Polaris, App Bridge, Shopify CLI, Hydrogen, Functions.

• Previous experience publishing Shopify apps or other plugin marketplaces.

• Subscription & billing flow know‑how (Shopify Billing API).

• Event‑driven or serverless architecture exposure.

• Extreme ownership: you ship, you support, you improve.

• Proactive, open‑minded and comfortable with ambiguity.
