Company Overview

Our portfolio spans the automotive, fintech, and SaaS sectors, and includes both holding and operating companies. As we scale operations, we are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Accountant to join our finance team. The ideal candidate will support day-to-day accounting functions across multiple entities with a focus on purchase and sales transactions, compliance, and accurate record-keeping.

Role Purpose

To support the CFO and finance team in managing the accounting processes for multiple entities within the group, ensuring accurate bookkeeping, compliance with UAE VAT and relevant regulations, and integrity of transaction records using Zoho Books and Google Sheets.

Key Responsibilities

• Maintain accurate accounting records for multiple UAE-based entities using Zoho Books
• Record and reconcile sales, purchases, expenses, and payments on a daily basis
• Verify and ensure all supporting documents (invoices, contracts, receipts) are VAT-compliant and properly archived
• Coordinate with external VAT consultants to provide all required documentation and ensure VAT submissions are accurate
• Maintain deals register in Google Sheets in line with company policies
• Generate purchase orders and reconciliation acts
• Monitor and reconcile bank accounts, credit card statements, and petty cash
• Prepare journal entries and ensure correct ledger postings
• Maintain intercompany transaction records and assist with reconciliations
• Liaise with external accountants and auditors as needed
• Assist in cash flow tracking, budgeting inputs, and ad hoc finance analysis as directed by the CFO
• Continuously update process documentation for accounting workflows

Qualifications & Skills

Required:

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
• 3–5 years of hands-on accounting experience, preferably with international or UAE-focused companies
• Proficiency in Zoho Books and Google Sheets
• Strong understanding of purchase and sales cycles, invoicing, and payment workflows
• Attention to detail and ability to self-audit
• Good written and verbal English communication skills
• Ability to work independently in a remote environment

Preferred:

• Familiarity with UAE VAT rules and documentation requirements
• Experience with intercompany transactions or multi-entity environments
• Background in automotive, fintech, or SaaS sectors

Tools Used

• Zoho Books (primary accounting platform)
• Google Sheets (financial reporting & data management)
• Communication via Telegram, Google Meet/Chats, and email

Work Environment

• Remote work arrangement
• Flexible work hours with some overlap with UAE business hours
• Regular communication with CFO and operation team
• Occasional deadlines and overtime requiring responsiveness across time zones
• Salary 250,000-300,000 net, plus an annual bonus of up to 400 thousand rubles
