Tangem started with the idea of bringing digital assets to the masses using a unique combination of a smartcard-based hardware wallet and mobile applications. Company owns and promotes the technology of hardware cold-wallet for digital assets with secure and simple UX in 220 countries today. Our customers enjoy setup time within 1 minute with the ultimate security level for digital assets on their wallet. Tangem solutions offer multi-support of a growing number of thousands of tokens by a single wallet. SBI Crypto Investment Ltd., the digital asset venture investment company wholly owned by SBI Holdings Inc., has invested $15 million into Tangem in 2019 for mass adoption of blockchain technology.

Position Overview

We are seeking an experienced Business Development Manager (BDM) to drive the growth of Tangem’s products and services, specifically within Web3, neobank, and cryptocurrency sectors. The successful candidate will bring market insights, expertise in the crypto space, and strong business development skills to the team. This role requires identifying new business opportunities, building key partnerships, and contributing to the strategic growth of Tangem.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Drive cold sales by building and nurturing relationships with resellers, KOLs, Web3 communities in the APAC region.
  • Meet and exceed quarterly wallet sales targets through proactive outreach and relationship management.
  • Manage the entire business development cycle, including email campaigns, video calls, and negotiating terms and pricing.
  • Collaborate on co-branded marketing opportunities to boost sales with partners.
  • Conduct research to identify new potential partners and expand the reseller network, with a strong focus on Japan, Korea, and other Asian markets.
  • Provide regular reports on sales performance and outcomes, ensuring a data-driven approach to goal achievement.

Requirements:

  • Proven expertise in building and nurturing relationships with resellers, retail stores, and distribution partners in APAC.
  • Strong communication skills for conducting video meetings, email outreach, and negotiations.
  • Native or fluent speaker of Japanese and/or Korean additional Asian languages are a plus.
  • English language proficiency at C1/C2 level.
  • Based in Asia with strong regional market knowledge.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, results-oriented environment with a focus on maximizing outcomes.
