This role is responsible for evaluate pipeline assets commercial opportunity in new therapeutic area through market knowledge, synthesizing primary and secondary market research, and customer insights.
Build scenarios and risk assessments for the pipeline forecast with the knowledge in market access and pricing to support forecast assumption. Support new product launch strategic priorities and key initiatives are well implemented in Russia & Belarus.

This role will anticipate, identify, understand, engage in and support effective prioritization of issues and opportunities across the business and ensure initiatives are completed in a timely and effective manner. As a member of Oncology & Specialty BU will provide operational support to enhance organizational efficiency, goal clarity and alignment of activities between BU & other relevant stakeholders. Portfolio Development will lead and be accountable for key projects across various commercial disciplines that have significant business impact in the market.

ROLE RESPONSIBILITIES
Key Responsibilities Include:

Strategy:
• Able to discuss a need with Oncology & Specialty BU Leads, Country Manager or LT and independently develop strategic options, leveraging a broad knowledge base about the Russian Business and the external marketplace.
• Work closely with the Oncology & Specialty Leads and Finance Partner to coordinate annual Operating Plan process, coordinating the work of the various members of Oncology & Specialty BU
• Partners with the Oncology & Specialty’ Leaders to develop the strategy & tactics for the future state operations from a structural and functional point of view.


Financial Performance:
• Work with BU members / LT to identify opportunities for efficiencies in managing departmental expenditures
• Apply and adhere to financial systems/processes and compliance requirements

Business Operations:
• Ensure lightspeed localization by managing and coordinating all relevant functions (PGS, Supply, Regulatory, Legal, Commercial etc).
• Maintain activities & support of local manufacturing Contracts to ensure timey replenishment.
• Partner with Legal, PGS and other relevant functions to develop, coordinate and negotiate whenever appropriate Contracts & Agreements between local manufacture(s) and Pfizer.
• Drive operational support for BU Leaders key i.e. presentations and ensure efficiency and effectiveness
• Performs activities to drive non-promotional portfolio of drugs, including, but not limited to: analysis and identification of targeted segments, monitoring the pricing process of competitors, ensure competitiveness of the portfolio & its availability.
• Maximize efficiency in tender segment of non-promo portfolio, including, but not limited to, cross-functional interaction with the commercial department on working with tenders, on time and in a form in accordance with the work plan.
• With support from Communications, partners on the communication strategy and implementation for the market to ensure consistent, engaging communications that reach all colleagues and supports overall communication efforts, such as town halls, team meetings, and others
• Provides awareness to Business Lead of important issues affecting strategy and operations

Leadership:
• Identifies, proposes, obtains agreement to, and guides the implementation of key Pfizer projects which will address specific market needs with significant impact, and ensure successful achievement of planned outcomes. Project scope may be specific to Russia & Belarus and/or include Global/Regional projects.
• These projects may include but are not limited to Strategic Projects: Localization Launch excellence related initiatives Global and in-market initiatives including growth strategy, portfolio prioritization Business Development Support: Integration, divestment, option evaluation Efficiency / savings Projects: Portfolio rationalization, benchmarking.

QUALIFICATIONS
Education
• Bachelor’s Degree is a must in business administration, engineering, science or similar disciplines
• MBA or other relevant advanced degree preferred
• Experience
• 7-10+ years of working experience with preference in the healthcare industry
• Extensive cross-functional project leadership
• Experience in successful management of localization projects (preferred)
• Commercial experience in functions such as marketing, sales, business development, strategic planning, business intelligence and similar or extensive consulting experience in similar areas
• Demonstrated success managing project teams
• Strategic planning, business development and portfolio experience
• Ability to travel up to ~30% of year
