The Role

As a Producer at Faraway, you will enable our team to build successful games and release amazing new features on time, on budget, and of the highest quality. You’ll work closely with all teams from visual design and engineering to live ops & game design to deliver experiences that our players will love. To do this, you will need to create designs and features (as a product manager), manage the planning and development process of games and their features (as a project manager), and optimize the development process where\ when its necessary.

Our Games

Legend Of The Mara is a 2D strategy gaming experience for Voyagers as a follow-up to the Otherside Second Trip. LOTM was a persistent 2D experience allowing players to evolve from Mara into Kodamara, farm sediment while defending their Otherdeed from emerging threats. We’re looking for a Senior Producer to join this project.

Serum City is a browser-based city-building game created in the Yugaverse by Bored Ape Yacht Club and the Mutant Apes. Serum City plunges players into a dystopian world, showcasing class division between the ruling class - Bored Apes, and the Mutant Apes who have been cast aside by society after receiving the serum.

Dookey Dash Unclogged (DDU) is an endless runner, a mobile casual f2p cross-platform game that is a sequel to the original Dookey Dash, with additions and exclusive new features. We believe in an open economy and real digital ownership.

Your Responsibilities

• Collaborate with other functional teams to make sure all features are delivered on time, on budget, and of the highest quality
• Work with management and other internal teams to organize resources for the projects, maximize the productivity of the team, and make sure all features and updates succeed against our business goals
• Working with engineers to decompose and manage its development from the idea through launch
• Design product user flows and work closely with the engineering team to determine the trade-offs between different product decisions and how to version the release of different features
• Communicate clearly, frequently, and concisely with all teams in order to have a constant pulse on the status of the project or sprint be ready to communicate status updates to upper management on a daily basis
• Maintain a high bar for quality and gameplay, using analytics and playtesting to identify what plays well and looks good be on a constant lookout for how to drive improvements
• Create a culture that promotes brainstorming, collaboration, continuous feedback, support, and empowerment. Set clear goals for the team and hold team members accountable for deliverables recognize and reward employees for strong performance
• Be knowledgeable about games and trends in the industry, with a focus on free-to-play, midcore, and browser/instant gaming, research and deeply understand player need.

What' s Important to Us

• You must be passionate about games and the intersection of blockchain and gaming
• 5+ years of experience as a Producer or Project Manager experience in gaming or crypto is a very big plus!
• Proven ability to work under rapid development cycles
• Outstanding Project Management skills and concepts
• Must be self-directed, detail-oriented, problem solver, with a strong desire to contribute to an extremely creative company
• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, excelling in an asynchronous environment like Slack
• You thrive in small teams, enjoy having significant ownership over the product roadmap, and are comfortable making strategic decisions
• You make decisions based on what’s best for the company, the product, and our partners, and use data wherever possible to support your opinions
• A passion for creating and playing video games!

• You have started your own company before and understand the drive and proactive work ethic needed to excel in a startup environment
• You are comfortable working in a very international team our team’s main spoken languages are English and Russian
• You are extremely comfortable with and seek out talking to your customers when you are designing a product
• You have previously worked as an engineer or have a solid understanding of the technical aspect of product development.
