We’re looking for Careers Ambassadors (CAs) to join our online community - people who share our values and who are looking for a great opportunity in shaping the future for themselves and other students!
What’s in it for you?
Work fully remotely, from campus, student residence, home - anywhere!
5 hours per week in term-time, with flexibility around your studies, examinations and other commitments!
Continued employment during vacations - also fully-remote!
Rate of pay £10 per hour, paid weekly.

The opportunity to attend an event in London to meet other IF Community CAs with all expenses paid and payment for your time! (There will be free food and drink too!)
What do we need you to do?
The IF Community is about belonging and empowerment for all university students throughout the UK. Our CAs are key to making this happen: you will be on the frontlines using your creativity, decision-making and passion to create fun and engaging spaces for students to learn more about themselves, each other and making career decisions.
The role of CA is an important one in shaping a positive community experience. We have over 20 communities where students will come together to discuss their future life plans around work and career, each of which requires a CA.
Essential requirements:
You need to be a current student or a recent graduate of a UK university
Keen to contribute to the growth of a new student-led careers movement by creating and sharing relevant content and playing a key role in promoting online discussion and maintaining a welcoming and respectful environment.
Able to take a lead in the subject area (see below) for which they are responsible.
Able to attend an in-person event to be held on a Saturday in October/November in London. This will start no earlier than midday and end late-afternoon to give you time to stay on in London if you wish to do so.
The 5 hours per week that you work as a CA must be spread throughout the week in periods of 1 to 1.5 hours but can be completed at any point in the day to fit around your studies. You will also have to keep an eye on the community throughout the week to flag any inappropriate content and to respond to new posts. As a CA you will monitor and regulate the content within the community, curating the community for your subject area and contributing to its growth.
The contract will be for the period up to and including 31 January 2024 with the opportunity to extend the contract, subject to company requirements and performance. There will be a probationary period of one month during which guidance and supervision from the IF Community Founders will be regular and with periodic review against IF Community criteria.
