Kody, a fast-growing Fintech specialising in bringing online payments and better financial services to brick and mortar businesses, is seeking a frontend web Angular Developer to join their dynamic team.In this role, you will have the opportunity to develop and maintain various web desktop and web mobile applications. These will be used by our customers to manage their business, and as well for the end consumer to place their online orders and payments. We are actively expanding more in the financial services and data analytics, creating new products that will be very exciting and unique to work on. It requires a deep expertise in TypeScript and Angular and familiarity with everything about web development.The ideal candidate does not have to be very experienced in all of these technologies or many live projects, because we can provide mentoring and coaching, but you will have strong problem-solving skills, be a team player, and be proactive in their approach to achieving company goals.The RoleDeveloping and maintaining the company's web and mobile fintech applications using Angular, Typescript, Ionic, and other frontend technologies. Collaborating with cross-functional teams such as product managers, designers, and backend developers. Participating in code reviews and ensuring that all code is maintainable, scalable, and secure.Responsibilities Build responsive, performant and reusable UI components Collaborate with Design and Product teams to make sure we're working on the most impactful set of features Write automated tests (both unit and end to end) Assist with bug fixing and performance enhancements across the multiple products Stay up-to-date with the latest developments and trends in the tech industry Contribute to the design and architecture of the applications Participate in code and design reviews Requirements Some experience with Angular and TypeScript (even if they are personal projects) A thorough understanding of HTML, CSS and JavaScript Knowledge of API's and communicating with external or backend services Understanding of unit testing The ability to debug coding issues A keen eye for detail with regards to design and UX Experience with version control systems (we use GitHub) Ability to perform well in a fast-paced environment Excellent analytical and multitasking skills Experience with Hybrid or Native mobile applications would be desirable (ideally Ionic) Knowledge of micro-frontend and mono-repo architectures would be good Benefits We're a fast growing, exciting company within a rapidly developing industry.
