This is what allows us to deliver groundbreaking innovations in the ophthalmology and aesthetic fields and to be recognized as the undisputed world leader in energy-based medical devices.Headquartered in Israel, we are a truly innovative and international organization with a solid global footprint in developed as well as emerging markets, such as the United States, Germany, Italy, United Kingdom, China & Hong Kong, Japan, India, Australia, Korea, Singapore, and Taiwan.FIELD SERVICE ENGINEERAs a Field Service Engineer you will be responsible to install, troubleshoot, repair and maintain a range of medical laser equipment and address customer support issues promptly and professionally.ResponsibilitiesWork in cooperation with the UK Customer Care Center to carry out service, maintenance, updates and installation of Lumenis products within your designated product range and assist under supervision with other products.When applicable provide out of hours technical service support and complete individual weekend working provision.Identify any opportunities to improve efficiency and effectiveness of team processes.Maintain good communications and team working with all Managers and sales colleagues.Escalate as appropriate situations where customer satisfaction is compromised or contractual obligations are unlikely to be met.Understand and comply with Lumenis work instructions, quality policy and codes of conduct policies and regulatory requirements at all times.Ensure material parts are processed in accordance with policy and complete personal administration in a timely and accurate manner.Maintain all test equipment, tools and company property in good and working order.RequirementsHNC/HND in an Electronics, Engineering.Ideally you will have previous field service experience where you have undertaken fault finding on electronic equipment. You will also be required to have strong IT and Microsoft Office skills.Previous experience with laser product Ophthalmic or Aesthetic will be beneficial but not necessary.Very good planning, time management and organisation skills.Should be able to plan your own preventative maintenance visits and manage your own diary.Your customer facing skills will be valuable, as you will be required to interface with customers and staff at all levels within Lumenis, contractors, sub-contractors and suppliers and must quickly gain the respect of others, both colleagues and customers at all levels.You must hold a full UK driving license.A flexible approach to travel, providing out of hours technical support and working planned weekend and evening work is required.Attendance of training courses and technical seminars in the UK and abroad will also be required.Candidates can expect to spend circa 4 hours travelling each day.Occasional travel to Europe will be required.It is a requirement that you must already hold a UK Passport / Residency or a valid work VISA to be considered for this role. None
