We are working with an international Freight and Logistics provider, who are currently seeking an experienced Roadfreight Customs Clerk to join their team based in Dagenham. Requirements: Experience within a freight forwarding environment essentialComprehensive knowledge of customs procedures and principlesExperience with Sequoia software advantageous General duties: Preparation and completion of customs entries for import and exportDealing with entry queries - commodity codes, duty rates, licences and documentation requirements etcCalculation of Duty and VAT rates per consignmentProcessing duty reclaimsMaintaining compliance with current and evolving customs legislationTo be the successful Roadfreight Customs Clerk, you will need to have experience working within a European Logistics of Customs position.We are keen to hear from candidates who have strong knowledge of Microsoft Excel and a familiarity of CDS and ASM Sequoia.
