The role The Supply Planning Manager will oversee the management of two supply planners, capacity planning, factory scheduling, third-party supply management, and inventory management. Additionally, they will be responsible for completing the demand and supply reconciliation process. The responsibilities of this role also encompass implementing enhancements to systems and processes to enhance efficiency.Key Responsibilities Oversee and enhance regional inventory management, ensuring replenishment aligns with agreed stock levels and Best Before policy. Proactive identification, mitigation, and communication of out of stock and excess/obsoletes stock risks. Collaborate with the Demand Planning team to gain comprehensive insight into regional requirements throughout the forecasting period and translate this information into a resilient supply plan applicable for: Material planning, production scheduling and financial forecasting. In collaboration with the Head of Manufacturing and Head of Demand, enhance the current S&OP (Sales and Operations Planning) procedures to ensure comprehensive comprehension of regional supply needs for both new and existing products. This involves devising clear strategies to address any gaps or risks. Take ownership of the Master Production Schedule, ensuring the accuracy of data input into SAP and Preactor. Collaborating closely with manufacturing site leads to ensure that the production schedule effectively supports the efficient operation of the sites and delivers against budgets. Collaborate with the Procurement team to ensure raw material and component planning with suppliers is optimised. Collaborate closely with Project Managers to ensure thorough understanding and comprehensive planning of any new product launches. Develop Rough Cut Capacity scenarios for both internal and third-party suppliers to contribute to the S&OP process and the 5-year strategic planning process. Lead, support, and enhance the development of Supply Planners/Schedulers, ensuring regular feedback and necessary training are provided. Collaborate with the IT team to address systems issues and implement essential improvements. RequirementsWe’d love you to have 3-5 years of experience in Supply Chain Planning, preferably in the pharmaceutical or FMCG sector Demonstrated proficiency in planning and ERP systems, particularly SAP Proven ability to collaborate effectively with various departments, including Marketing, Sales, and other Supply Chain functions Prior involvement in budgeting processes alongside the Finance team would be advantageous.
