This is a newly created role and will be pivotal in helping us develop our existing teams, across a variety of functions, upskilling current employees and implementing training and development tools and practices across the business - including our Sales and Leadership programs. You will play a critical role in creating and executing a comprehensive L&D strategy that aligns with Oritain's growth objectives. This role will report into our Chief People officer, and be part of the People and Culture team. You will have accountability for learning and development, performance, and talent development of all Oritain colleagues globally.This is a fantastic opportunity for someone looking to build out and own an L&D function and create huge impact to a fast growing business. Responsibilities Do a business analysis of our global teams to understand the current landscape, identify gaps and business needs to understand our people and their skill set, and development areas Create a plan that will enhance full potential of our people, aligned to our current and future business plans. Partner with the Senior Leaders to identify training and development requirements within their business functions and teams, executing initiatives as required. Develop and deliver training programmes to enhance capability, skills and knowledge at individual, team, and organisational levels. Develop the leadership, technical, specialist and professional capabilities of the Organisation to support our plans for growth. Create and implement leadership development initiatives to identify, develop and retain emerging leaders within the organisation. Lead the planning and implementation of engaging learning initiatives, including workshops, e-learning, job shadowing and coaching sessions. In collaboration with the People & Culture Managers, support the performance management review process to drive a culture of high performance and improvement. Develop and embed a culture that supports long-term career aspirations for all Oritain colleagues, implementing development plans and supporting career and development experiences. Implement a Learning Management System that ensures the efficient management, development, compliance and completion of all appropriate learning content. Foster a culture of innovation and curiosity by promoting continuous learning across all levels of the organisation Collaborate with external training providers and industry experts to identify new learning solutions for our people. Requirements You have a proven track record of working in a Global L&D role, particularly across the US and UK, as well as successfully developing and executing strategic L&D plans to enhance organisational capability. Degree educated; ideally in HR Management, people science or MBA. A blend of experience gained in corporate/consultancy environments and scale up organisations would be preferred You have demonstrable record of identifying skills gaps, and creating learning solutions to suit the audience. You have a successful track record in designing and delivering training training and development events to a Global audience. Proven success in developing and executing Leadership Development programmes, and a good understand of training sales professionals (from Inside sales to Senior Enterprise sellers) and enhancing their sales capabilities. Knowledge of Sales methodologies such as Miller Heiman, Challenger, Value selling would be highly advantageous. Excellent communications and engagement skills at all levels across the business up to C-Suite/SLT stakeholders. Up-to-date knowledge of industry trends, digital solutions and learning technologies to enhance the learning experience. Ability to work pro-actively and collaboratively as part of a team, demonstrating a high degree of initiative. Proficient in Learning Management Systems (LMS) and MS Office applications. Ability to work from our London hub 3 days a week and flexibility to travel globally (US and New Zealand will be required).
