As a Science teacher, you will have the opportunity to nurture curiosity, critical thinking, and problem-solving skills, while fostering a deep understanding and appreciation for scientific concepts.Responsibilities Plan and deliver engaging Science lessons to students, ensuring alignment with the school curriculum Utilize a variety of teaching strategies and resources to cater to diverse learning styles and abilities Create a positive and inclusive classroom environment that promotes student engagement and participation Assess student progress regularly and provide timely feedback to students and parents/guardians Collaborate with colleagues to develop and implement effective teaching practices and resources Maintain accurate records of student attendance, grades, and other relevant data Participate in staff meetings, professional development activities, and school events as required Requirements Bachelor's degree in Science Education, or a related field Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent Proven experience teaching Science at the primary or secondary level Excellent knowledge of the Science curriculum and current teaching methodologies Strong communication and interpersonal skills Ability to differentiate instruction to meet the needs of diverse learners Commitment to ongoing professional development and improving teaching practice Ability to work effectively as part of a team and contribute to the school's wider curriculum Company InformationWayman Education is a specialist recruitment agency with over 20 years experience within the education field.
