As a Year 1 teacher in this lovely and progressive school, you will be responsible for teaching a range of subjects to Year 1 students. Year 1 Teacher responsibilities:· Plan, prepare, and deliver engaging and challenging lessons to Year 1 students, using creativity and innovation to keep the students engaged.· Assess and evaluate student progress, providing formal and informal feedback to students and parents.· Collaborate with colleagues to plan, prepare and participate in school events, including extracurricular activities.· Establish and maintain open and positive communication with students, parents, and colleagues.· Utilise a student-centered approach to teaching, encouraging independent thinking, and problem-solving.· Incorporate inclusive practices into teaching approaches, recognising the diverse needs of students.· Ensure accurate record-keeping, including attendance records and student data, in line with the school's policies.
