With Intelligence is seeking an experienced and motivated BackEnd Team Lead to join our growing tech team. As the BackEnd Team Lead, you will be responsible for guiding a team of software engineers focused on the development and maintenance of our back-end systems. You will collaborate with other teams, such as the FrontEnd, DevOps, and Product teams, to deliver high-quality software solutions.Responsibilities: Manage a team of back-end software engineers, providing guidance, mentorship, and support Collaborate with cross-functional teams, such as FrontEnd, DevOps, and Product teams, to define project requirements and deliverables Design, develop, and maintain scalable back-end systems and APIs Ensure code quality and adherence to best practices through code reviews and regular feedback Identify and resolve technical issues faced by the team Stay updated on industry trends and best practices to drive continuous improvement within the team Requirements Prior experience as a Team Lead or similar role, preferably in a software development environment Strong proficiency in PHP development, with frameworks such as Symfony Some proficiency in back-end development using languages such as Python, Node.js Experience with designing and building scalable and performant APIs Knowledge of database systems, such as MySQL or PostgreSQL Familiarity with cloud platforms, such as AWS or Azure Experience with version control systems, such as Git Excellent communication and management skills Ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities to support the team Passionate about technology and staying updated with industry trends Benefits 24 days annual leave rising to 29 days Enhanced parental leave Medicash (Health Cash Plans) Wellness Days Flexible Fridays (Opportunity to finish early) Birthday day off Employee assistance program Travel loan scheme Charity days Breakfast provided Social Events throughout the year Hybrid Working Our Company:With Intelligence is based at One London Wall, London EC2Y 5EA.
