Create a positive and inclusive learning environment that promotes student participation and critical thinking. Assess and provide timely feedback on student progress and performances. Collaborate with colleagues to develop and implement the DT curriculum. Maintain accurate records of student attendance, behaviour, and academic performance. Communicate effectively with parents and guardians regarding student progress and any concerns. Participate in staff meetings, professional development sessions, and extracurricular activities. Ensure the safety of students during DT lessons and adhere to health and safety regulations. Requirements Bachelor's degree in Education or a relevant subject area. Relevant teaching experience in Design and Technology. Knowledge of current educational trends and practices in DT education. Strong communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to effectively manage a diverse classroom and cater to individual student needs. Highly organized with excellent time management skills. Familiarity with relevant software and technology used in DT teaching. A commitment to continuous professional development and staying updated with educational advancements.
