Your main responsibilities will revolve around delivering engaging and interactive Design and Technology (DT) lessons to both primary and secondary students. These lessons will not only cultivate creativity and problem-solving skills but also equip students with practical knowledge and hands-on experience.Responsibilities Plan and deliver inspiring and inclusive DT lessons to students. Create a positive learning environment that encourages student engagement and critical thinking. Assess and provide timely feedback on student progress and performance. Collaborate with colleagues to develop and implement the DT curriculum. Maintain accurate records of student attendance, behaviour, and academic achievements. Effectively communicate with parents and guardians regarding student progress and any concerns. Participate in staff meetings, professional development sessions, and extracurricular activities. Ensure the safety of students during DT lessons and adhere to health and safety regulations. Requirements Bachelor's degree in Education or a relevant subject area. Prior teaching experience in Design and Technology. Strong knowledge of current educational trends and practices in DT education. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to manage a diverse classroom and cater to individual student needs. Organizational and time management skills. Familiarity with relevant software and technology used in DT teaching. A commitment to continuous professional development and staying updated with educational advancements.
