Vision for Education are a Welsh Government Approved Agency in Wales Secondary Cover Supervisor:Are you a teaching assistant looking for your next step in education? We have had an exciting opportunity become available to work within a secondary school in the Cardiff area as a cover supervisor.We are actively looking to find an individual with experience, confidence and has a can-do attitude which will be invaluable in a classroom environment. You will be responsible for supporting secondary aged pupils and covering the class while the class teacher is away.The ability to speak Welsh is preferred, but not essential for this roleDuties will include: Covering secondary aged classes while the teacher is awayMaintaining classroom discipline in line with the school discipline policyBuilding rapport between yourself and pupilsSupporting pupils as they undertake work in line with the national curriculum prioritiesPromoting the school ethos and adhering to all school policies and proceduresWorking closely with all school colleagues and under direction of the school leadership team.
