By delivering dispatchable, roundtrip affordable power, our thermal battery aims to reduce fossil fuel reliance and promote sustainable energy practices.As a R&D Electrical Engineer at Aed Energy, you will play a critical role in the research and development of our cutting-edge thermal battery technology. Working closely with our multidisciplinary team of engineers, you will have the opportunity to contribute to breakthrough innovation, shape the future of energy storage, and create a lasting positive impact on the environment.Responsibilities Design, develop, and test electrical systems and components for thermal battery prototypes. Collaborate with the R&D team to optimize electrical performance and efficiency of the thermal battery. Conduct research on emerging electrical technologies and integrate them into the design process. Analyze and interpret data from experiments and simulations to guide engineering decisions. Participate in prototype assembly, testing, and troubleshooting. Work closely with the manufacturing team to ensure successful transition from R&D to production. Stay up-to-date with industry trends, standards, and regulations related to electrical engineering in the renewable energy sector. Requirements Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field. Proven experience in electrical design and development, preferably in the renewable energy sector. Proficiency in electrical simulation software and CAD tools. Strong knowledge of electrical systems and components. Familiarity with energy storage systems and battery technologies. Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills. Ability to collaborate effectively in a multidisciplinary team. Excellent communication and presentation skills.
